Property building in MIMARU Tokyo Ueno Inaricho
We are a family of 2 adults + 3 kids, who stayed at Mimaru Inachiro for 8 days. We were very happy with the best decision of our trip to stay here. 1. People One of the most important aspect of the accommodation is the people that are there, and the personnel at this hotel are wonderful people. The team is always very supportive and helpful, and really helped me out with food recommendations around the area. Oftentimes, Gina would help me out in the mornings as we start out day, with where is a good place for breakfast, and directions to attractions. In the evenings, Shu would help me out with places for dinner. 2. Location Subway This location really worked out well for our family’s requirements and needs. It is very walkable. In that it is about 5 min walk or less to the nearest subway station. The station itself has the Ginza line and that was very useful to go to Asakasa, Ginza and Nihombashi. Food: There are many eating places, that suited our family within a 5 – 10 min walking radius. So it was very useful and convenient for us to go for dinner after a long day and return back to the hotel after that. Supermarket There is a 24 hour supermarket about 3 min walk away. Literally, turn left and then turn left, and you are there. So very convenient for getting essentials, and snacks. 3. Food Breakfast wise, we either grabbed sandwiches from the supermarket, MacDonalds is also about a 5 min walk away. Or Café Katsura (7 min walk – Gina’s rec for simple sandwiches and coffee). Dinnerwise, the hotel will have plenty of recommendations for you. But there is also one restaurant that we chanced upon walking around. It is about 10 – 15 walk from the hotel. And we had really great Italian food at very reasonable prices, so much that we went back to eat twice during the week that we were there. It is called PizzaKing, seriously delicious and at such reasonable prices, but take note that it accepts cash only. Love this place so much. Service is good too. Best to m

Nearly everything was wonderful! Especially the staff — Gina, Shu and everyone were so kind, welcoming and professional. I mentioned to Gina that we needed hand lotion, bc Tokyo was hella dry, and she tried her darnedest to ask all the Mimaru branches, and when they didn't have any, she went out of her way to put together a very thoughtful gift basket of body and hand lotions with a cute card! So kind and very thoughtful — please give Gina an award for going above and beyond lol! The room was honestly smaller than we imagined, but when we compared it to our friends' hotel, we realized how it was actually relatively VERY spacious and well-appointed as well! Stocked with dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and very clean. The bathtub and shower were so so nice and comforting after those long days in the city. Location is amazing! So close to Maruetsu supermarket, Daiso, restaurants and the Inaricho subway. Overall, so much was beyond our expectations and would highly recommend!

We liked the new, spacious and quiet room. It was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 11y old), and we comfortably stayed there for a month. The location was great - only a couple minutes' walk from Inaricho Subway station, 5min walk from JR Ueno station and Keisei Ueno station. We used a taxi from Keisei Ueno station to the hotel because of luggage, but you can walk easily without them. There is 24h supermarket (Maruetsu and Daiso 100yen shop) within a min walk, many reasonable restaurants are available around the hotel and near Ueno station, and a public spa (Kotobuki-yu) is also within a min. The staff are lovely, and all receptionists are bilingual in Japanese and English. We will come back for the next Japan trip!

The property is only a few minutes walk from a major subway line. Inside it is an apartment style location. It included a kitchen with microwave stove top, small refrigerator, plates, dishes, silverware. There were two western beds, even though we were supposed to have been in the Japanese Room. The other two r Futon beds that could’ve been made were tucked away. They also have many other items that you can borrow. This included an iron and an ironing board which we use prior to returning. There’s a laundromat that we did not use, but appeared to clean. The bathroom was spectacular with a nice western styled, shower and tub bath for relaxing after you’ve showered.

Very home sweet home kind of place, the staff are totally friendly careful and helpful. The location is pretty good, 3 min walk to INARICHO station and it is Ginza line, it is very convenient for my trip schedule this time. The room is clean and comfy, very comfortable to have breakfast or dinner, the kitchen is enough to use on easy cooking. Restroom is wet/dry separated. Neighbor are okay, not much people walking on the street, streets are clean. It is very comfy for a family with 3 people, nice experience :)
